Fellow anglers, I need help locating a fishing rod. I recently broke my rod while fishing for native trout in a non stocked Pennsylvania stream. I slipped and fell and drove the tip directly into the stone creek bottom snapping 6” of the tip. I am trying to find the same rod and it is proving to be challenging to say the least due to the fact they have made changes to this particular rod series this year and most outfitters and big name stores(cabelas, bass pro, tackle warehouse, FishUSA) are all carrying the new models which I do not care for. I have even checked out all the local shops and went as far to contact the manufacturer to see if they had any laying around in a corner somewhere collecting dust. The rod is a ST CROIX. It is model number ECS63MLXF in the EYECON series. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would happily make a reasonable offer and pay any shipping costs. Thanks you and tight lines

I feel your frustration. This can be laaate but finding older models can be a real challenge. Have you tried checking eBay or Facebook Marketplace? Sometimes you can find discontinued models from other anglers or small tackle shops. Another option is to post in specific fishing groups on Facebook or fishing forums where collectors might have the exact rod you're looking for.

Good luck, and I hope you find your ST CROIX ECS63MLXF !
