This lake really has quite a bit to offer in terms of big bass. I have grown up fishing this body of water and have more experience and man hours here than anywhere else. I have had great success fishing off of the beach that you speak of in your summary, the beach on the east side of the lake. There is a hole off of this beach, within casting distance if you are wading out a bit that is the deepest section of this lake. Many large bass have been pulled in from this area, both casting out to it from shore as well as casting into it from a boat. Additionally, i would reccomend numerous other locations at this lake including, but not limited to, the cove off of the graveyard, the rocky/shallow area on the north side of the lake as well as in and around the 2 small islands located toward the southern part of this lake. If you plan to fish here, let me know and ill be glad to potentially share some other, more closely guarded hot spots with you. |
