Comment: Creasekeeper, have you tried a topweed? This might work as a side lure to a crank, just make sure the worm isnt too jigged. Ive had decent success with this, but i think it's a lot better than just wading your lure into a rock pot. ya know?

Comment: ya i've really gotta expand my game. im always just looking to throw some rubber worms into the lilly pads, just wasn't the right pond for that.

Comment: I have not been to this pond yet but as you mentioned, my game plan probally would have been thumping spinnerbait or crankbait (if possible with grass) and of course a noisey topwater lure
