Well... went out to a Private Lake that I fish... the lake gets fished pretty good since it is private - but nobody ever says anything.... yet... have done well in the past on the lake, but today in five hours of fishing, I caught 17 pickerel.. AND NOT ONE BASS! Kinda pissed me off.... but the action was awesome. Pickerel put up a great fight and attack lures, especially using the frog. Caught fish on spinnerbaits, rapalas, plastic lizards, spinners, and the frog... can't understand why I didnt get one bass.... fished all over.. banks, weed beds, lilly pads, deep and shallow waters,... but nothing... guess I'll just chalk it up to "one of those days".....
