Got out on the pond early just before sunrise. Paddled north and hit the lily pads edges on the northwest coast. Picked up one good size largemouth on a top water popper. Another hour without any bites, switched to a watermelon senko and immediately got smashed by a 3lb'er on a slow retrieve. Made the trip worthwhile.
