I didn't make it to NC this fall. A back injury and surgery ruined my late summer thru the end of this year. Hoping the doc releases me to normal activity with caution to start off the new year.
Planning to visit my sister in Raliegh in the spring of '09. Can someone tell me about Falls Lake? When in the spring does it wake up? Can I use a gas motor? I hear it has some good largemouths, but know little of the other fish available.
Question#2 is about shellcrakers. Can someone point me in the right direction for some big redear action.

Hi there hows your back doing know the feeling two years ago i had back surgery they put two rods and a plate in my lower back and a bunch of screws. Wish you a fast recovry and back on the water again. Wish i could help you on Falls lake but don't have any info. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
