I rip the charles all spring and summer and average between 15-30 LMB a day and some big boys..usually start in waltham and run all the way back up to where it gets so shallow u cant go anymore then work my way back...awesome time!!!

Anyone here familiar with Paddle Boston? They run kayak/canoe launch parks that cover a 13 mile stretch of the Charles River from the Silk Mill Dam in Newton to the Cochrane Dam in Dover. I don't live/work far from Paddle Boston's Nahanton Park Newton location. So I figured that would be my launching point. I ventured up to the Silk Mill Dam this past Friday. I'd like to go down to Cow Island Pond the next time I hit the Charles.
What's everyone else's 'take' on the Charles?
