Dug Pond - Natick, MA Fishing Report

6/24/08 - Dug Pond - Natick, MA

Another first time place. Ive heard good and bad about this pond. I started fishing just after the storm passed through. I started at the south end of the pond. There was a small nicely maintained cartop boat ramp, a small beach head, a couple clealing ot fish to the right and left with a couple small patch of lilypads on the left. Pretty shallow over all at this end off the pond, with a much better drop at the North end of the pond which also has multiple clearings to fish from shore. In the first hour I had the only 4 bass I would catch all night, all from the south end, with the biggest being 1lb 6oz. A ton of carp jumping clear out of the water all night.
